Establishing energy security and transitioning to a vibrant low-carbon economy is critical for a developing country like India. Blending natively produced ethanol with gasoline will enable indigenous businesses and encourage farmers to participate in the energy economy and decrease carbon emissions. The initiative will further reduce crude oil imports and provide consumers with access to environmentally friendly fuel and help in checking the rising cost of fuel. To strengthen this initiative, the government has approved additional feedstocks for biofuel production, strengthening India’s vision becoming "energy independent" by 2047.
Our bio-ethanol products will be effective in helping the nation reduce its future carbon footprint and dependency on crude oil imports. Our grain-based distilleries extract bio-ethanol from damaged food grains, including broken rice and maize, that aren't fit for human consumption. It helps in optimising installed capacity, and also comprises various raw materials from which ethanol may be produced using fully developed 1G technologies with minimal investment.
Greenative Petrochem is in the process of establishing multiple grain-based distilleries at strategic locations with the target of having a production capacity of 1000 KLPD by 2025-26. As a result, we're committed to delivering integrated end-to-end solutions that serve as an important foundation for a healthy economy and a cleaner environment.
The Indian government recognises this possibility and has made a number of strategic interventions through progressive policies and beneficial financial mechanisms to enable grain-based ethanol producers to respond to the "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" vision.
